I haven't subscribed as long as many here but I've received too many mascaras, black eyeliners and the same BITE Beauty lipstick. Even though its inexpensive I'd rather put the money towards a better beauty box subscription so I cancelled. Sorry Play I'm outta here.

• I canceled this subscription because I got different items than what it says I’m supposed to have in my box. I was excited to get and try the items that it SAID I was going to get. But when my box came it didn’t have the same products in it and I didn’t care for the ones I was sent. At all. If I was getting good makeup and skin care products then I would continue to subscribe, even if the price was doubled. But I don’t want to pay for something that is disappointing and that I won’t even use. If my box actually had the Sunday Riley Good Genes and Drunk Elephant Lala Retro Whipped Cream I would have been more than happy with it. But I get... mushroom latte mix. No thanks. Switched to boxy charm instead.

I didnt receive what it said in my sneak peek I was suppose to get. I was really disappointed because I was really excited to get most of those products but what I got was really a flop in comparison!

I didn’t receive three out of these items- no belif, no Sunday Riley and no Drunk Elephant- WHICH ARE MY FAVORITE! Instead I got other products I won’t even use. What’s the deal?! I’ve been subscribed since these started and they just get worse. NO MORE BITE, please no more mascara or black eyeliner!!! MAKEUP & skincare pls!

@SephoraPLAY  NO MORE REPEATS!! This is the third Bite Glacé lipstick I have received. I'm not paying for this service to keep getting the same thing. I saw you are previewing the possibility of Bite in the Feb box. DO NOT SEND ME BITE. Their formula makes my lips swell and you send it all the time!!!

I've only been subscribed since October and normally every box I am generally pleased with but this one was disappointing. Besides the lipstick and moisturizer, they were all true samples, like the kind you would get in the mail for free. Having a repeat skin care product was annoying too, it didn't work for me the first time so why would I want another??? Also, the Bite lipstick seemed thoughtless since many of us had gotten it for our birthday so to get the exact same shade was irksome. In addition, my perfume sample was maybe 1/3 full. Like what's up with that?! Overall, a real thumbs down. 😕

New year, and new surprising products? Mine seemed just an old bag I had before with few changes. Marajo hair care which was already sent to me before and I like to have samples of hair products once in while but i’m more into makeup products, brushes, skin care products. Definitely didn’t need to have a repetitive of this one. Origins Charcoal mask: It was sent to me before too, yes i liked it, so I guess i’m just gonna store it until I run out of mine. Smashbox primer water: it was okay trying new product Bite lipstick: was the same one i had for my birthday, loved it and probably would buy again. But I wanted to see new products. But I guess it’s fine saving me the repurchase cost. Laneige water sleeping mask: It was just sent to me not so lone ago. So most of the products are the same ones I received before. New year, old product. Hum daily cleanse: I never received is before and liked that it was sent to me as i’ve been wanting to try it. BUT “3 day sample”???? The product needs 4-6 WEEKS TO SEE THE RESULTS. How am I gonna see results in 3 days? Not all products can be mini size because not all products work in a sample size!!! Samples should be based on the amount needed to see the results. Overall, disappointed!!! I cancelled my other subscription boxes just to subscribe this one because I love the brands Sephora has. But honestly I’m not getting the best Products I was hoping for. This bag literally seems just left over from old bags And I don’t need plastic bag every month!

Just got my January Play box and I’m pretty happy about it. Love the Bite lip products, Laneige water mask, Sunday Riley CEO and BeautyBlender solid. All great products and good sample sizes. The Four Sigmatic Mushroom mix was a bit odd but I like trying new things. I have been a Play subscriber for around 2 years and have enjoyed most of the products and the Play points passes. Sadly, I need to cut extra costs and have now cancelled. Just wanted to say that my overall experience has been a good one!

What is the point in giving a sneak peek when the products you receive are totally different? Two of my products are duplicate lip products from previous boxes. Pretty irritated and disappointed!

Concerned that my box came with the Four Sigmatic golden latte mix. At least one of the ingredients may contain lead. I will welcome future wellness samples as long as they are not harmful to my health. No complaints on the remaining products. Enjoyed the sleeping mask 🙂

The statement you are referring to is required by a labeling law in California called Proposition 65. To sell products in California, Four Sigmatic must have this statement on their packaging.
